Some post-launch thoughts and gratitude

In the past two weeks I've been really blown away by the support I've received about Main Quest.

The shop's received nearly a thousand different sessions from what is essentially completely organic word-of-mouth marketing (AKA marketing for the overly frugal) and I've been getting kind messages from all over in response.

I was especially touched by those reaching out that I had never met before! It's not easy talking to essentially a total stranger and your words meant a lot to me. Now to address the elephant in the room:

Yes, you can buy things for real.

Overwhelmingly, this is the most common talking point I've been seeing since people have been discovering Main Quest. I can totally understand the concern! Pretty much all the content on the site is facetious and a joke, but I can guarantee you that the store itself is by all means fully functional.

You can buy any of the products listed and you will get them (eventually, on average it takes about 2 weeks or so because I'm eating the cost of all the shipping and doing standard unless picked otherwise at checkout). Might I recommend my latest design? #ad

To the handful of you who actually have ordered things: I'm very grateful for that! It's much appreciated. You didn't even ask if it was legitimate, you just blindly gave me your money! You're going to get your stuff really really soon and you're going to see how much care I put into picking actually comfy clothes worth wearing (that's also part of why everything seems so darn pricey!).

Finally I'd just like to reiterate that you don't have to feel obligated to actually buy anything. Your attention and time spent checking out the silly designs and flavor text alone is worth it. If this site never got any orders, I'd at least be able to use it to refresh my own wardrobe and share some laughs with some friends (present or future).

Thanks again for stopping by!

P.S. Despite having a non-zero and plural amount of orders, literally nobody has ended up using a discount code a single time. I'm certainly very happy that the prices were not reduced, but there's still totally the option to use code QUESTGIVER at checkout for 10% off!
